Recipes — save and reapply layouts
A recipe freezes your current setup — the panes you have open, where they sit, how they look — into a card you can reapply later. Build your ideal “deep work” or “streaming” arrangement once and get it back on demand.
Saving a recipe
Section titled “Saving a recipe”- Arrange the workspace the way you like it.
- Say save recipe in the command bar (or use the Save as recipe command) and give it a title and description.
- A recipe card pane appears; it lists the captured panes as steps.
Applying one
Section titled “Applying one”Open the recipe card and apply it — the captured panes open in their saved positions with their saved styling. Your current panes stay put; a recipe adds its layout rather than wiping the canvas.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Recipe cards are panes too: they persist in the workspace, move, and resize like everything else.
- Recipes capture pane content data (a browser pane’s URL, a kanban board’s cards) but not live agent conversations.
- For switching between whole environments rather than layouts, use multiple workspaces instead.
