The Feedback pane

The Feedback pane captures what you notice while you work — ideas, bugs, things you love — without breaking flow. Open it with the Feedback button in the top chrome or by saying open feedback.

  1. Pick a category: 💡 Idea, 🐞 Bug, ❤ Love, or Other.
  2. Type your note (“Tell us what’s on your mind…”).
  3. Optionally add screenshots (up to four): click Screenshot to pick from your captures (everything from the screenshot tool, one click to attach) or Browse files… (which opens in your Pictures\Screenshots folder) — or simply paste an image into the text box.
  4. Click Send feedback — you’ll see Saved · thank you! and the entry appears in the list below with its category and timestamp.

Every saved entry has a Backlog button: one click turns the observation into a numbered idea in the Backlog pane — bugs arrive as high priority, everything else as medium — where it can be filtered, planned, and promoted to its own Kanban. The entry then shows ✓ In backlog so nothing gets forwarded twice.

  • Toggle 🔒 Keep private before sending to send an entry only to the Mastery HQ team — it reaches our inbox directly and is never shown on the public roadmap.
  • Toggle 🩺 Attach diagnostics to include a snapshot of your app version, OS, and recent console/network activity with the entry. Secrets are masked automatically, and you can preview exactly what will be shared before sending.
  • Give any entry a status — open, planned, shipped, or declined; shipped and declined entries read as struck-through.

Sending a non-private entry submits it for the public roadmap at roadmap.masteryhq.dev — it appears there once approved, where people upvote by confirming an email, and cards are clickable to read the full submission (screenshots included). Published entries show their live ▲ vote count back in the pane. Private entries never appear publicly.

  • Entries are saved locally and persist across restarts; delete one anytime with its ×.

Frequently asked questions

Where does my feedback go?

A copy always stays on your machine. Sending a normal entry submits it for the public roadmap (it appears after review); an entry marked Private goes to the Mastery HQ team's inbox only and is never shown publicly.

Can I attach screenshots?

Yes — up to four. Click Screenshot to pick from your in-app captures or browse your Pictures folder, or just paste an image into the text box.
