The training game
The training game turns learning Mastery HQ into a speedrun: it shows an instruction, you type (or say) the matching command, and faster answers score more points. It covers the commands you’ll actually use daily — opening agents, Hermes, terminals, layouts, themes, screenshots, recipes — and ends with a celebration.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Start it from the first-launch flow, or any time you want a refresher.
- Each step shows an instruction and an example (e.g. Spin up your first coding agent →
open an agent). Type the command in the command bar — any phrasing that matches counts. - Two creative steps happen on the whiteboard: draw a squiggle with the pen, then drag out a shape.
- Points scale with speed, up to 100 per step. Your best score is saved; getting close to it triggers a heartbeat — beat it for the record.
The public leaderboard
Section titled “The public leaderboard”The finish screen can put your score on the public board at masteryhq.dev/leaderboard:
- Enter a display name and your email, then hit Submit my score.
- Tap the confirmation link in the email — one tap, no account — and your score is live.
- Only your best score counts (one entry per verified email), so replays can only move you up.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The game creates a 🎮 Onboarding workspace and deletes it afterwards, restoring the workspace you were in.
- Every step is a real command — everything you do in the game works exactly the same afterwards. The full list lives in the voice-command reference.
- Replaying is fine: the game resets its own workspace each run.
