Is my code sent anywhere?+
Mastery HQ runs on your machine. Agents work in your local workspace, and code goes only to the model providers you configure with your own API keys - nowhere else. No Mastery HQ server ever holds your source.
What if an agent breaks something?+
An agent can’t merge its own work. Every change lands as a diff with tests attached, and nothing ships until you approve it. Your project stays under git the whole time, so rolling back is one command - same as any change a human made.
Can I use my own models and API keys?+
Yes, that’s the default. Point it at Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or OpenRouter keys, and pick a different model per agent. When a better model ships, you switch a dropdown, not your environment.
How is this different from Claude Code or Cursor’s agent?+
Those give you one agent inside an editor - you still coordinate everything around it. Mastery HQ is the layer above: an Agentic OS that runs those same agents as long-lived processes, several at once, with planning, testing, review and deploy in one place, plus the browser, boards, previews and spend meters the work actually needs. It runs Claude Code and Cursor’s agent rather than replacing them.
What’s the refund policy?+
Seven days, no questions asked. If Mastery HQ isn’t for you, reply to your purchase email within 7 days and the full amount goes back to your card. Your license is deactivated, and that’s the whole process.
How many computers can I use one license on?+
Up to two at the same time: your desktop and your laptop, say. A third computer is turned away; deactivate the license on one you no longer use (Settings → License) to free a slot, or grab another license. Replaced a machine and can’t deactivate it? Reply to your purchase email and we’ll reset your slots.
Does it work with my stack?+
The app itself runs on Windows 10/11 - Mastery HQ is Windows-first on purpose (macOS/Linux aren’t supported yet). The agents inside it are stack-agnostic: they build whatever Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or your OpenRouter model can build - TypeScript/React, Python, Rust, Go, and everything in between. Proof by dogfood: Mastery HQ (Tauri + React + Rust) is built by its own agents. You’ll need the WebView2 runtime (ships with Windows 11) and at least one agent CLI or API key - the setup wizard checks all of it with green lights.
